Have fun with Tabletop games!
This is a full day of tabletop gaming goodness! There will often be scheduled events (see below) but there will always be a great opportunity for Open Gaming all day with our growing game library available. You are also welcome to bring along any games of your own that you would like to play with new friends. Entry fee is included in monthly $5 membership.
Early Session: 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m….ish
Pathfinder RPG (RPG)
The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game puts you in the role of a brave adventurer fighting to survive in a world beset by magic and evil! This game session will be geared toward beginners, but players of all levels of experience are welcome. This game will be for 8th level characters; pregenerated characters will be provided.
GM: Bruce Snow ; 3-6 players
Later Session: 5 pm….ish – 10 p.m.
Unknown Armies (RPG)
Part II of The Grail Mystery
After receiving reports of sightings and attacks by a “Urban Werewolf”, and meeting with a nightly gathering of homeless people across from O’Fallon Park in St. Louis on January 15th, 2001, the investigators become aware of the fact that there is more than one mystery afoot. The homeless people report not only a Werewolf, but a more pressing threat to their community, a predator they call The Street Phantom, who has murdered at least four of their number. There has also been a slew of unnatural occurrences, visions, nightmares and assorted weirdness. And what are these rumors about a Satan’s Chosen Temple? Said to be a cabal of amateurish, clueless wanna-be’s with the ability to (what?) summon demons? . . .
For those interested, it’s not too late. I still have several pre-generated character slots open. All members of WIT, the Whispers Reality TV show Investigative Team, investigating the supernatural.
Experience the mystery and horror of the Occult Underground. Experience Unknown Armies.
GM: bMac; 3-6 players
Ludus Senatus (Card Game)
Ludus Senatus, designed by Brian Compter, takes its inspiration from the Roman Senate. Players control a tableau of three cards and take turns either revealing one of their cards and performing the actions listed on it or placing a card in the middle of the table and drawing a new card face-down to their tableau. When the center of the table fills up with the appropriate amount of cards each player checks the votes on their cards and compares them to the votes in the middle of the table. If the majority of their votes matches the majority of votes in the middle than the player scores points.
GM: Brian Compter; 3-4 players
X-Wing has become a popular game at 2 Flights Up. All Star Wars fans are welcome to come. We are happy to accommodate new players. Either bring your own fleet or just come and we’ll assemble a fleet for you with our ships. This miniatures game is great for ages 16 and up. Ask Thomas about it!
