Granada, 1278. At the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, one of the most exciting and interesting project of the Spanish Middle Ages begins: the construction of the ALHAMBRA.
The best master builders in the whole of Europe and Arabia want to demonstrate their skill. Employ the most suitable teams of builders and make sure that you always have enough of the right currency. Because no matter whether they are stonemasons from the north or horticulturalists from the south, they all want a proper wage and insist on their “native” currency. With their help towers can be constructed, gardens laid out, pavilions and arcades erected and seraglios and chambers built.
GM: Jeannie Compter; 2-6 players
Mid Session: Starting at 2 pm
The Grail Mystery – Pt 4 (RPG)
The “Werewolf” is dead. Brought to ground by Louis, members of the St. Louis PD, and “Fang”, the large bull terrier owned by Henry Watts, St. Louis Animal Control Officer. The homeless U. S. Army Vet, Pat, was its last victim. A caring and supportive member of his community, he is much mourned by his friends and those who knew him.
Yet, despite this small victory and praise from the WHISPERS T.V.station owner and producer, Salina Ramirez, W.I.T. is reeling from the insane weirdness dished out by this evil, unknown, supernatural presence, named by its victims (members of the College Hill homeless community), The Street Phantom, or “Mr. Glass”.
Streetlight “ghosting”, time loss, fog phantoms, visions, horrific dreams, and audio anomalies have all been experienced by the team, but despite some good video footage and audio recordings there has been no direct, convincing evidence of supernatural influences.
And, who is Vera Leitwinder? Is she the “Angel of Mercy”? Who is the woman posing as the insurance investigator, “Myrna Malloy”, and who is this “Vince Jenkins” whom she is hunting for? And who or what is The Street Phantom?
GM: Bruce MacDonald ; 3 – 4 characters still available
Later Session: 5 pm….ish – 10 p.m.
In Sagrada, players carefully construct a stained glass window masterpiece, made up of a grid of dice which they draft from a common pool of dice. This is an intriguing and colorful abstract game that will keep you thinking!
GM: Jeannie Compter; 2-4 players
Battle of Gladden Fields – Revisited (Miniatures)
Most Tolkien fans are familiar with the tragic Battle of Gladdden Fields, where Isildur lost the One Ring. But what if the relief force sent by Thranduil had arrived in time to help? We will revisit this tragic battle with that in mind, using the Dragon Rampant ruleset.
GM: Thomas Compter ; 2 – 4 players
